This session will help prepare participants to use the active learning pedagogy, and specifically Climate Change in Copenhagen, 2009 online. We will discuss best practices for using the game in virtual classes, how to translate some game mechanics online, and highlight key considerations for both synchronous and asynchronous platforms (including slack and video conferencing). For those unfamiliar with the Climate Change game in any format, there is an additional (optional) session before to introduce the game's themes and structures.
