The Artistic Revolution will be Zoomed! This session will help prepare participants to use the active learning pedagogy, and specifically Modernism versus Traditionalism: Art in Paris, 1888-1889 online. We will discuss best practices for using the game in virtual classes, how to translate game mechanics online, and highlight key considerations for both synchronous and asynchronous platforms (including slack and video conferencing). Experienced Reacting professor and Reacting Editorial Board Chair, Nick Proctor will lead the discussion and answer questions. For those unfamiliar with the Art in Paris game in any format, there is an additional (optional) session before to introduce the game's themes and structures.
